Cadillac CTS-V captured : culture|garage

It looks incredible. It’s quite the brutish look for a Cadillac. As it should, this M5 killer packs a 7.0 liter V-8 from the Corvette Z06. Expect around 520hp. 0-60 in less than five seconds. Top speed is rumored to be around 175mph. This will be a welcome edition to the CTS line up, which was all new this year.

The chrome mesh in the grille is very busy — they’d have been better off blacking that out (but leaving the chrome on the border).

Otherwise, though, wow. Looks awesome.

The title is misleading I thought the M5 was “killing” the CTS-V. I think the the title should read M5 “killer”.

Of course, considering the standard CTS weighs about 4,000 pounds, this will probably run 4200-4400, and suspension tuning can’t overcome physics.
