The person who placed this video on YouTube calls these guys rednecks, but it’s obvious they are well beyond the intelligence level required to consider Skoal one of the main food groups. They spent 15 grand and untold man hours to create this mechanical beast. However, unless each unit comes with a free dental plan, I don’t think they will be hitting the streets until they work out a better any suspension system.

  1. That’s actually quite an achievement. I don’t see it ever replacing the wheel (just on efficiency grounds, I have a hard time seeing what could).

    But that could be an excellent way to get around in places with a lot of snow on the ground.

  2. Maybe he should’ve tried bolting some rubber to the bottom of the feet? Or would that have been too much like a typical car?
