ABC in Dallas, reports that enforcement officers will now have a new tool to combat tailgaters. They say that 12% of all accidents can be attributed to not enough distance between cars. This laser gun (also seen in Halo 3) can measure the distance between two cars. A safe follow distance is apprx two seconds. For those following closer than, two seconds, expect to get a ticket. If this works enough to deter tailgaters, perhaps I can stop buying marbles to drop out of my sunroof.

  1. Good. I can’t stand agressive drivers.

  2. I can’t stand people who stay in the left lane.

  3. UT highway patrol recently started a big crack down and ticketing cars for driving to slow/ not passing while in the left PASSING lane. It was great to see the highway patrol car cam and angry idiots who didn’t know it was illegal to hang out/ regulate freeway speed.

I’ll also be happy when the tailgaters get tickets.

  4. I’ll stick to brake checking people.
Yeah, it’s dangerous, but if you weren’t tailgating me, I wouldn’t have pushed you into an oncoming bus.

  5. Yeah i don’t like people tailgating me i just use the brakes and slow down to just about a stop and if they do keep on tailing me ill stop the car and sit in the middle of the road if your in such a hurry maybe a little timeout will slow you down and won’t hurt that little kid who could be down in town crossing the road

  6. This is why I carry a gun in my car.
