I don’t even have anything to say about this.  But apparently a Moose’s nose can really f’ a car up.  It almost looks like he is nibbling on the car.

Commenter Zach (zmilkdawg) just submitted pictures and a brief write up on Subaru’s EXIGA concept, which was revealed at the Tokyo Auto Show. The seven seater has a glass roof (SVX anyone?) with 360 degree view for all of the passengers. As standard with all Subaru models, it will have AWD. The concept featured the turbo 2.0 boxer motor. I still haven’t figured out the YouTube plug in, so be patient, click the picture for the video.

Scott Puttnam of Sube.net, who is actively involved in Rally America and has been a co-driver the past season with Dunkin Rally Team, just sent quick clips from the 2002 Pike’s Peak Hill Climb, yup that’s Per Eklund and yeah, that’s a rally semi. A rally semi. Yup. Wow. Thanks Scott!

Wow.  Apparently Chris Bangle’s son got bored and wanted to figure out how to build onto his father’s popularity with the 5 series.  Success.  This BMW is covered in HAND CARVED ivory, diamonds and rubies.  It took three years.  Yes, three years, to make the car this hideous.  But it gets better.  The car is to be auctioned off, all proceeds will go to Guangzhou Asian Games Organizing Committee to host the 16th Asian Games held in Guangzhou.  It is expected to fetch $2,000,000 Euros.

Unveiled to the public today was the newest incarnation of television icon KITT for NBC’s upcoming two-hour Knight Rider movie event. Created specially for this movie were three new variants of the Ford Mustang to fill the various roles throughout the movie.

“The three cars to be employed in the series include the KITT Hero — a Ford Mustang Shelby GT500KR that is playing the part of the everyday Hero car with 540 horsepower; the KITT Attack — a super high-speed version of the Ford Mustang Shelby GT500KR Hero car that transforms into Attack mode with the help of air-ride technology and specialized body parts — and a KITT Remote, which is a driverless Ford Mustang Shelby GT500KR version of the Hero vehicle.”

This only leaves me with one question: how would the Hoff feel about abandoning his classic black Trans Am in favor of the Ford badge?

This shot is just awesome. I believe this was taken at a track in Spain. It’s just a quick shot from a Porsche photoshoot this past summer. Credit, Jeff Terwilliger.

You have probably seen more of his work, another piece is in this thread.

They say that imitation is the most sincere form of flattery. But wow, a “Targa” Mustang just really doesn’t look good. The option adds $1,995 to the price tag. So after you factor in the $9,000 in rebates they will give you to drive it off the lot, I guess it isn’t that bad. But only certain cars can pull a targa roof.

(cough)

Lorinser just showed off their take on the 2008 Mercedes-Benz Estate (that’s pretentious for, station wagon). The car rolls on the signature Lorinser wheels, but they also sculpted the body a bit more with a full body aero kit consisting of front and rear aprons, side skirts with five gill-like air inlets, a honeycomb sport grill, wide fenders with large air inlets on the side. Unfortunately, they didn’t really do much to increase the power.
