VW Shroud of Touran : culture|garage

The VW Touran is a multi-purpose-vehicle (read: quasi-Mini-van) that rolls on a stretched VW Golf platform. According to Car Magazine, VW is rushing to introduce the new Touran to save costs, as the new Touran will share the MK6 Golf chassis. Apparently the MK6 Chassis, is cheaper and quicker to produce.
