3 CommentsQuite frankly, a lot. If you haven’t read the “about us” page on the left column, I can give you a bit of insight. This started as an idea for a thesis project, I just had no idea how to get started, enter Ryan. Ryan built all of the backend of the site and got you what you see today. Jeff has helped out by managing the forum content and making a few snazzy shirts. But anyways, a brief synopsis of what has happened in the last month:
- Google Analytics has us at over 200,000 impressions /over 90,000 unique visitors
- Made the front page of digg twice in a week
- Linked to on over 75 automotive forums / referred by over 540 different sites
- “hired” two new writers to keep content coming
- Various track backs from autoblog and Jalopnik
- Challenged Jalopnik and autoblog to a 24 Hours of Lemons duel — they chickened out
With that here are the most viewed items (number of unique visitors)
- “It felt like the whole house was going to blow up” (39,580)
- “Top 10 things to do with your big ass TV” (22,489)
- “A large Montana ranch that keeps over 240 horses” (12,204)
Thanks for all of you who have made this a (relative) success, the diggs help immensely as does sharing the site with friends. Now go buy a shirt and pimp us to the masses. ![]()

By now you have probably stumbled across this commercial on multiple sites. Somehow the spot leaked prior to the airdate (this weekend). It was one of the last big projects from Carmichael Lynch and Porsche’s partnership. Internally, the piece is dubbed, “Call of the Wild,” and was done in support of the new Cayenne GTS. Stay tuned, because there are many more things associated with this spot, namely a kick ass website, that you guys will have a lot of fun playing around with.
Most supercars and exotics are your typical garage queens with little mileage on them. It’s this mileage that keeps up their high resale value too, I mean who wants to buy a Ferrari with 50,000 miles on it?
Featured in Porsche’s christophorus magazine (#329 December 2007/January 2008 issue) Enrico Pozzi isn’t one of those owners who garages his two year old Porsche Carrera GT. It is his daily driver in Milan, Italy. For Enrico, it was love at first sight when he test drove the Carrera GT at Porsche’s Leipzig test track.
But the biggest shock to us all is the mileage on his black beauty. During his two years of ownership, Enrico has driven over 100,000 kilometers (62,000 miles) and this is equivalent to circling the globe 2.5 times. One can only imagine his hefty maintenance costs for this supercar.

CNN reports that Jane, of Iowa, found booze in her 19 year old son’s car. In retaliation, she is selling the car in the local classifieds (newspapers have 100’s of readers). The ad reads: “OLDS 1999 Intrigue. Totally uncool parents who obviously don’t love teenage son, selling his car. Only driven for three weeks before snoopy mom who needs to get a life found booze under front seat. $3,700/offer. Call meanest mom on the planet.” Her son however, claims that it was left by a passenger. But mom sets the rules and the rules were no booze. The car has since been sold, but Jane is going to continue to run the ad in humiliation of her son to create awareness and consequences of underage drinking.
That fact that it is a short bus kind of explains why the butter children are trying to take a butter cow on the butter bus. Must have been show and tell-day, most kids bring in a stuffed animal or pictures of their father, apparently someone wanted to bring Bessie the butter cow. The short bus, kids and cow are made from over 900 pounds of butter for the Pennsylvania Farm Show (this past weekend). The short bus of butter is stored in a large glass refrigerator and was donated by Land O’ Lakes in celebration of PA’s success in dairy.

Your guess is as good as mine, but it appears this turbo was non-functioning (at least it is now!) so the owner welded up the compressor side and plugged the oil line for a quick fix.
Extra hillbilly points for using a spark plug. Let’s hope there isn’t still a compressor in there.

You may have heard Mitsubishi is planning on rolling out a lower trim model Evo, dubbed the Lancer Ralliart. It will be slotted below the EVO (which competes against the STI) and is designed to go head to head with the Subaru WRX. The model will feature 2.o turbo four with 240hp, AWD, paddle shifted six speed, Recaro seats, aluminum hood and a Ralliart grille. You can’t make out much in this picture, but there is certainly a Ralliart logo on the grille and the wheels look smaller than the standard issue Evo wheels. Let us know what you think.

Panasonic showcased their 150 inch plasma at this year’s Consumer Electronics Show, trumping their puny 103 inch model from last year. Currently they use this sucker for stadiums as a jumbo tron, but pretty soon you can buy one for your living room.
I heard that Panasonic only ships over one at a time because that’s all that will fit on the plane. Look for the next MTV cribs to feature a bunch of these things, with maybe one or two mounted in an Escalade.
Check out the top ten things to do after you buy one of these post-jump.
