This is a really cool find, Neatorama has chronicled the evolution of automotive logos. In most cases it also lists the derivation of the design, etc. My favorites are the pre - WWI VW and the 1930’s Saab.

Although the new NBC series (on the tube at the moment) Knight Rider is an obvious PR ploy, it is quite good, considering how low my personal (and no doubt our collective) bars were set for this show. The car is better than expected, the show’s agenda, though conservative, doesn’t beat around the bush, especially when it comes to the war, gasoline, and even faith. Yes, faith. Expect more coverage in the A.M., along with NHRA and (God forbid!) NASCAR roundup.

Today’s WTFF (what the f Friday) moment brought to you by Harley Davidson and Porsche.  To clear the air, trikes are for Nancys.  After the age of three you should never again be seen on a trike.

I ripped this from Motorpasion, which is in Spanish (I think), so don’t ask me for any details.  All I know, is that is a Harley trike with a 911 ass.

Ok, I know the Contour didn’t fair well. Granted the SVT Contour was hot and still quasi-lusted after by car dude/ttes. But the new Mondeo just looks gorgeous. Or am I way off base? Not to mention, the Fiesta Jim posted below, is pretty hot too.

Instead we get the Ford 500 Taurus and the Fusion!? I don’t know what is holding them back? Drop the Fusion, it’s ugly. And targeting young business professionals is a joke. Unless the young business professional works at Avis.

I mean, I can see it not being a wise decision to bring over a $30,000 Focus ST. But wouldn’t this have broad enough appeal?

The Mondeo just has something going on for it… look at the interior after the jump.
