Okay, okay, I know, bad joke. All kidding aside, FocalJet is one of the most active communities devoted to Ford’s trademark econo-hatch, the Ford Focus. The FocalJet site has all sorts o’ good stuff, from news and reviews, to helpful tech advice and interesting cross-forum banter.

The member’s of FocalJet’s community encompass a huge range of ages and nationalities, with users all over the world discussing all things Foci. Beyond the typical forum stuff, however, there’s special subsections devoted to more Focus-specific items, including a section devoted to Focus “statement” cars, like the Kona and S2 editions, among others. Personally speaking, I had only heard of the Kona, so it was really cool (not to mention informative) to see the other special editions that came out in the Focus line.

FocalJet also has several companies who are active in the forums, not simply selling their respective wares, but offering (and taking) advice on hot-rodding Focuses. The Tire Rack is one such sponsor, giving FocalJet members a special section of their website HERE. It’s clear that the Focus community may be low-key, but definitely not low-brow with sponsorships like this.

Motorsports haven’t been left out of the equation, either, as there are several areas devoted to autocrossing, rallycrossing and drag racing-these Foci aren’t regulated to the show-car scene-they’re drivers. However, if you are into having a show car, or even just a normal daily set of wheels with a little bit of flair, FocalJet is still the place for you, with both performance AND show modification subsections in constant active use. On top of all this, the main page is chock fulla great links and news to satiate your appetite for Foci and related materials.

Don’t worry, FocalJet is not regulated only to Focuses, or even just Fords, although having a respect for the Blue Oval is required. Members post all sorts of topics regarding Mustangs, Hondas, etc., all in the name of having fun with cars.
