Makes me glad that I am bald. Well that and being too fat to fit in a kart. So this lady is hosting a birthday party for her nine year old daughter. They are cruising around the go-kart tracks at Fiesta Fun Family Fun Center, when all of the sudden the kart goes Last of the Mohicans on her ass.
Apparently, her long hair became entangled with the kart’s drive shaft, sheering most of the skin of of her head, along with an ear, some hair, etc. What a horror for the children to see. Yikes. Plus, I bet they had to shut the track down, which pisses the kids off even more when they realize they have to play Whack a Mole with their tokens, rather than taking a kart ride to hell.
Luckily, the woman is healing nicely and will be all right. However, she is scared as hell of weed whackers and other small engined devices.

That is a terrible accident, but I’m sorry, if you have hair down to your ass, stay away from go karts.
Better yet, just live in a bubble. There are too many things to get your horse’s mane caught in.

if you enjoy this stuff, you gotta look up “action park.” northern NJ amusement park known for multiple fatalities due to badly engineered rides. it was eventually shut down in the mid-1990s b/c of the lawsuits.
i knew a kid who lost a testicle go-karting. i also saw a grown man cry after a kart accident at a track event. go-karting is no joke.
