Those wonderful folks at Garage D.O.G.G. emailed me again, thanking us for the review of their new product. They also let me know that they are upping the ante on their contest, it went from a $500 payout to $3,500. Nifty.

The payout is in the form of a Home Depot gift card. Which could certainly come in handy, as I refer to HD as the Land of Broken Dreams–namely because there is so much that I see there that I want to do… but can’t due to talent and cost.

Anyways, I asked if the company would be willing to send me another case so that I could distribute it to you guys. But here’s the thing, I am not going to take my time, effort and money to send you stuff if you aren’t going to represent us well.

I expect Kurosawa, Kubric, and Scorsese level stuff out of you guys. Basically, they want you to show off what you have that is filthy and why you need Garage D.O.G.G. a representative example is the youtube video embedded at the top of this post.

So, are you interested? If I heckle them for product are you actually going to submit something? For a breakdown on the contest, the rules, etc., check out their site.

Update: if you would like a sample and will participate in this contest, please email me with your name and shipping address ASAP, Garage D.O.G.G. will drop ship to you.  I will be sending them the list Thursday at 5pm CST.

FYI, culture|garage is NOT affiliated in any way with Garage D.O.G.G.; we tried it out and we liked it and it is kind of cool to see companies treating sites like us seriously.
