So I finally got around to getting my lazy butt to resize photos and prep videos for this post, which means the rest of my “b” roll can be seen by you, my beloved readers. The content is pretty much strictly American this (final) time around, save for one last photo of the Scion booth. Lotsa media after the jump.
The Chrysler booth was chock full of good stuff, so I had to get some shots of all the vintage iron there. Missing in my photoset are pictures of a super stock Plymouth due to the dope behind the camera being off. (In other words, I can’t take a photo to save my life) However, the Dodge Daytona that was present made it in, as well as a bitchin’ Cuda drag car. There was some other stuff there- but I should probably clam up and let the pictures do the talking.

And just in case you thought I had forgotten about modern cars, here’s a couple of entries from Chrysler that’ll make you gag, or vomit, or something. The yellow thingamajigger is called the Dodge “Demon,” which resurrects the Demon name from the Duster/Dart family of years past. This concept has been making the rounds for a year or two, but to me it looks a bit chunky for a sports roadster, especially of this size. If Chrysler trimmed the body down a bit, ensured that it had some sort of SRT mill underhood, it might be a decent competitor for the Solstice/MX-5 market. Or not.

This next vehicle is a Jeep Concept and it…look, I won’t waste anymore brain cells on writing about it. I hate it, and you should too.

So Ford had a plethora of pony cars present (even one on a pedestal!) so I’ll post a few photos of these phreakin’ phantastic Phords. Er, Fords.

Lincoln-Mercury, as usual, was along for the ride, and had a few moments of true clarity, such as the anti-wind noise contraption on top of an SUV, designed to make driving with the sun roof open tolerable at speed. I also thought the Lincoln headlights with the Lincoln logo sandblasted into it was quite nice.

Finally, GM really put on a show, including a concept Camaro with rally stripes, that while effective at attracting gawkers, was really a GTO in drag.

Oh, and I enjoyed the Pontiac booth.
Here’s another shot of that cool Scion display- again, it attracted a lot of people to it, and seemed to keep the booth buzzing all day long.

Lastly, here’s more obligatory wheel shots for Bart.
