First off-let it be known that I’m not usually one to report what Jalopnik has before, but in this case, I think it’s warranted- the European-spec Ford Focus will be coming to America. If this is any sign, Ford has listened to enthusiasts and those in the know and thrown corporate politics to the wind, in order to bring a quality vehicle to market. I’ve always liked the focus rally car, but the production car is so much less fun to drive. Even the SVT is not particularly fun. If it were more powerful and stiffer while staying light, it has some serious potential.

I’ve been holding down the vomit every time I see one of the new US Spec Focii. I’m glad we will be getting the nicer looking sibling!

my brain just exploded!!! too bad we don’t get the good looking 07-ish model, just the fugly newly restyled front end. Still though, AMAZING NEWS!!
