Track events are a good time. It doesn’t matter whether it takes place at a drag strip, a cone-filled parking lot or a muddy field, enjoying your car, truck or bike with other enthusiasts is always fun. Some are club-sponsored and well-organized, while others are simply meet-and-go type affairs. So here’s the question: What kind of track/off-road events do you enjoy?

I have to say my local PCA (Porsche Club of America) does it right with over 20 events a year on track including autocross, drivers ed (not the high school type here fella’s - high speed track DE) and more. THe only downside is I had to outfit my car with sport seats, 5 pointers, and the usual weight shedding (boo hoo)…

The most fun I ever had on 4 wheels (maybe sometimes 3 wheels) derives from driving one of my cars through cone-filled dirt fields.
