Milford Proving Grounds- Despite the name, the Milford proving grounds are not full of Traversii mini suv’s or minivans, but rather the vehicles tested and evaluated there are a veritable cross-section of GM’s lineup- including those as-not-yet released or even announced to the general public. Included in the latter part of the vehicles tested at the facility is the upcoming Camaro, and if the impressions left by those who got to drive the latest iteration of Chevy’s pony car are any indication, it should be a fire-breather.
Now then, it is worth mentioning that the opinions stated are those of Camaro enthusiasts, and although believable, there may be just a bit of hyperexcitement running through the accounts posted over at Camaro5.com. However, they are the most in-depth look anyone has had at the new Camaro, so note must be taken of what has been said of the new vehicle. Without a doubt, Chevrolet will be tossing a VERY potent V-6 in the car, as every review seemed to glow over the new “base” motor. Also included in the accounts are the descriptions of the V8 Camaros that were crisscrossing the testing grounds during the visitor’s time- which sound heavenly, apparently.
There’s something odd about a jet buzzing the proving grounds with Bob Lutz at the helm, though. Especially one of the fighter-plane variety…maybe that’s where Saab’s birthing process begins? Aha! That would explain the flying HHR… Anyhow, click on through the link HERE for more Bobius Maximus, or Bobbylicious Max, or something…
