Driving though Denver, or Philadelphia, or Boston or any number of busy cities in the world can be a hassle. A problem. A downright pain in the ass. Whatever the issue is-cell phones, ignorance or just plain bad driving- nothing compares to the commute in downtown Baghdad-which is depicted with great clarity in this weekend’s video. The liberal use of the chrome horn is a nice touch, I’d LOVE to use that technique sometime!
Have a GREAT Memorial Day weekend, and take a moment to remember the fallen!

sadly, baghdad’s got nothin’ on NYC. at least video dude was actually able to drive. today i was stuck in a taurus station wagon in the worst traffic in the history of our planet. normally a veritable gandhi behind the wheel, all i could think of was the scene in the shining where blood splashes through the hallway like a river.

So - was that a military vehicle (US) just having some “fun”

That was a US Military Humvee and as practice they do not stop when moving through cities in Iraq as the threat of an IED or ambush is so great. Fun, Im sure, however with the looming thought if an attack its probably more like survival.

@Cooper-Are you prior service?

Alan,
I wouldn’t stop either… They were using their horn and it is kinda like an ambulance, you should probably get out of the way. Besides, they aren’t police and personally I don’t think they should act as such. They are soldiers trained for war, probably 18-22 - I know I would be doing the same thing.
That being said, it would be better on many levels if they came home anyway.

I’m going to start tapping cars with mine. Great technique!
