Hey- thanks for reading. Really! Now, as Chris has explained before, this site is fueled by enthusiasts, for enthusiasts, but we all have lives and jobs that sometimes preclude writing every day- heck, sometimes, every week. That’s why we love that you read and comment on our material- whether those comments be positive or negative. This week’s question has it’s focus squarely on you, our readership, and what you do when you aren’t glued to c|g.

Me? Well, between undergrad and grad school, I work as a counter monkey for (gasp!) R/C vehicles at my local hobby shop. The pay sucks, but I deal with all sorts of interesting people, and the tech is just like 1:1 cars, just smaller, and thus, more manageable, so why complain? Anyhow, that’s what I do to make some scratch- so howsabout you? Are you students? Do you hang drywall? Do you, well, do nothing? We wanna hear about it! We want to see our demographics, and better understand who it is we are writing for. What say you?

I’m currently a student at the Rochester Institute of Technology studying IT. I also like playing guitar, but haven’t done much of that recently.

@iamchris - I went to the other “R” school in NY and studied IT. Everyone confuses RIT and RPI when I tell them where I went.
I’m a cube monkey at cisco, network engineer - I troubleshoot and fix switches mostly.

I sell outdoor equipment for a midwestern sales agency that’s focused on green initiatives and reducing global impact from burning fossil fuels. I catch a lot of grief for my guilty pleasure of driving…
