Bandimere Speedway, Morrison, Co- Bandimere is the bane of crewchiefs and drivers alike, as the air is thin and the competition closer there than at other tracks. Downforce is hard to come by, and tuning nitro motors is a nightmare at altitude- all factors that will make for some excellent racing in the rocky mountain region, July 11-13.Catch all of the action on ESPN2, with coverage of Qualifying on the 12th, 10:00PM-12:00AM. Eliminations will be televised on the 13th, from 8-10:00PM. A repeat of Eliminations will be shown on the 16th, from 3-5:00AM. All times EST.

Daytona International Speedway, Daytona, Fla- Although the ALMS race at Daytona was a real barnburner, the Sprint Cup series brought plenty of interesting moments to the historic track. A restrictor plate race, the Coke Zero 400 saw close racing, with “bump-drafting” the preferred method of overtaking. In a series of cautions, Toyota driver Kyle Busch was able to make his way to the head of the pack, and get around Carl Edwards once a final yellow flag dropped during a green-white-checker session, effectively awarding Busch the win. Edwards’ Ford finished second, and Greg Biffle brought his Ford home in third. Busch extended his points lead over Dale Earnhardt Jr. by 182 points, and put some real distance between himself and the rest of the field in his sixth race win this season.
