1 CommentThis is amazing! So, what you are looking at here is a 1/12th scale Yamaha YZR-M1. This guy went above and beyond the call of duty on attention to detail. He replaced the stock plastic gearing with metal gearing, dressed it up in carbon fiber, etc. Just check out the site. Crazy.

Brainerd Raceway, Brainerd, Minn.- The NHRA is coming to Minnie-soda this weekend, and hopefully Chris will be reporting to Brainerd to experience some straight-line racing…or at least some fine funnel cakes. Oh, and according to the website description, there’s plenty of good fishing…so if the racing isn’t exactly enthralling, you can munch on some Pike with your funnel cakes. Anyhow, all of the racing can be seen on ESPN 2, with Qualifying being shown on the 9th from 6-8PM, Eliminations on the 10th, from 10PM to 1AM, and a repeat of Eliminations on the 13th, from 3-5AM. All times EST. Read the rest of this entry »

Perhaps I am just jaded and bitter as I am coming out of a redeye flight back from X Games, but man, this commercial blows (or maybe I just don’t get it). I mean, sure, a Jeep is great to have to pull some dude out of a snow bank. Right, I get that. But is it needed to take a fox back to the wilderness? Or to take a dude for a swim at the beach?
Isn’t that kind of overkill? Let’s sip the gas people. Now excuse me, I need to go drive two blocks to pick up milk.
