Not sure if you heard, there is an election coming up for president of the United States.  It’s supposed to be a big deal or like the most important election ever, or something like that.  Anyways, in North Carolina, which is apparently a battle ground state, a local agency BooneOakley, has created stickers for defacing road signs.  Keep in mind, they are just providing the tools.  Not actually defacing the property.  Kind of like how gun makers just provide guns.  Not actually shooting people.  Anyways, the decal/sticker thingy is Obama’s trademark sunrise logo.  And it goes over the green portion of stop light signs (get it, Go Obama?). Kind of a cool viral campaign.  Spotted on adrants

  1. Decals and stickers are part of a persons freedom to express himself/herself. So long as it is not causing anything detrimental to another or to a property, he/she is entitled to it.

  2. For whatever purpose, people should never deface traffic signs as motorist may find it difficult to navigate roads. This act might result to more traffic and road accidents in the coming days.

  3. That is one creative subtle way of defacing road signs. The message was clear and unambiguous. Green for go. Go Obama!

  4. Traffic signs had not been totally defaced by such decals/stickers. If it were prejudicial to the public, it would have been banned. No stops sign for Obama, he won!

  5. Traffic signs are for motorists and road users. Defacing them is an act of vandalism.
