Care to Tango?

Since it's Saturday as I write this, I thought it appropriate to find something a little different, but still pertinent to current automotive events. Ladies and gentlemen, I give youthe TANGO!
Appearing to come from the "roman-nose" school of design, the Tango is an electric vehicle, touted by the parent company, Commuter Cars, Co. as a fun alternative to the other EV's out there. By fun, Commuter Cars mean 1/4 mile times in the 12-second range, autocross athleticism, and an NHRA and SCCA-spec rollcage built into each vehicle.

Yes, friends, that is a burnout, powered by nothing but a few batteries. This thing is truly, uh, different, but it's definitely something to check out. See more of the Tango here!

Is this thing still vaporware, or can you really seriously get one of these now? I remember reading about these.. at least 5 years ago, when I was in high school still !

This thing has been around for a few years, kansei.
George Clooney even owns one.

Unfortunately, they’ve only been selling their high-end, $108,000 model. Now that the Tesla is being sold, I don’t see how the tango can survive unless a production model comes out.

Those pictures look like a Salvador Dali painting.
