eBay find: Honda Civic M3
Worst idea. Ever. You know, Honda Civics aren't that bad. And I am not opposed to tuning a car. But I do tend to get a tad upset when an abomination such as this shows up.
What you are looking at is a 1996 Honda Civic EX, that has been turned into a BMW M3 esque thingy. The good news is, the maintenance costs will surely be less than the BMW, not to mention the fact that it only has 73,000 miles.
The car features a whole slew of "upgrades"
Tweed interior, NOS! (hooked up but never filled), suede floor mats (because that makes complete sense), three tvs, and other ridiculous stuff.
I really don't know who this guy thought he was kidding.

I seriously am curious how much he spent on this. The work looks reasonably well done, even if lacking in taste. When all the costs are added up, I wonder how far off the price of, i don’t know, maybe a real M3 would be used?
I mean, the guys that build kit cars of $300K Lambos I can almost understand, though they are tacky and rarely well done. But spending a considerable amount of money to build a replica of a 40K car? Weird.

i give him props for the effort. not something i’d do, and his mods look too expensive for a civic. but sometimes people just gotta do crazy things that make no sense. at least it’s not a terrible body kit.

why would someone do this ?? And its true for all the work he did (engine tuning, body kit, paint job,racing seats the list goes on) he could have just bought an M3. AND on top off it all the tail lights and rims look quite ridiculous.

Wow I am feeling sorry for this shit. According to me if I would get some work done on my Civic,I would clean up my Interior and Exterior and than, boost my power but still will let it be A CIVIC.10K will get all work done as I want.
