Holy crap. Things look different
Welp, it’s been awhile. But look! The site has been totally revamped. Hopefully this makes it a little easier for everyone to dig around in. Some of the key things that have changed, not only is it more aesthetically pleasing, it’s also been tweaked to how you view things.
1. Articles. The main page will feature the latest article that we’ve posted. Did you miss something, or want to dig back through the older posts? Just click Articles in the navigation.
2. Videos. We could easily have 100 posts a week on videos, but rather than chewing up space in the article section, we developed a spot on the homepage to feature the latest video. If you want to look back and see all the articles we’ve posted, go ahead and check out the Videos page.
3. Photo gallery. Our new photo gallery should update and rotate through images more often (comment below if that’s not happening). Basically, you can showcase your automotive pictures by tagging your photos on flickr with the tag “culturegarage.” Pretty cool, right?
4. Motorsports. Oh wow, check that out! Click on Motorsports in the navigation and you’ll be taken to motorsports related things that culture|garage contributors participate in. It will predominantly feature our 24 Hours of Lemons race endeavors.
As always, we’re looking for future contributors. I’m approached often to test products, attend seminars, shows, etc but we don’t always have enough bodies to help out. The best way to contribute is by simply leaving comments on the site. As popularity rises, you can easily be promoted to a writing position. Or photography. Or whatever we have available. And you don’t even have to be local. Set up a profile picture thingy and then start commenting.
Hope you like what you’ve seen so far. I’ve been blessed with receiving help from some great guys, Ryan and Jason. If you ever need website help or freelance jobs, be sure to contact these guys.
