Prelude to Passion

The Honda Prelude is a car not often thought of as a car that enjoys an enthusiast following. Having weathered several generations and evolutions, the Prelude is a car that for many years formed the backbone of Honda's presence in the United States and elsewhere. A sporty little coupe, its design reflected the best that Honda's engineers could come up with in an affordable, fun, and yet still Honda-like practical package. From the first generation that formed the basis for what the car was, to the final version with squared headlights, sexy curves, and an appealing short-deck, long hood appearance, the Prelude has been an apt, if quiet car on the sport compact scene. For the owners of these machines, however, their car isn't just a whisper in a maelstrom-it is the heart of it.

Prelude Zone is the home for all things Prelude, with an active forum that brings Prelude owners the world over together. Tech Talk, the technical side of the forum, discusses the greasy side of these Hondas, and explores every generation of Prelude made. Turbo swaps, ignition problems and more are the meat of these areas, and there are more than enough willing an able participants to help your troubled Prelude back on its feet, er, tires.

Styling and Sound is where things really get interesting- carbon fiber, lightweight wheels and in-car audio and video are the name of the game.

Media of members' cars is also readily available, as most of the forum's many members are willing to post pictures and the odd video of their car in action. Not sure how that new bumper will look? Check out this section!

Finally, there is a vendor area, a place to BS and an off-topic area to further your need for all things Prelude. So while I may not be that familiar with the import scene, sites like Prelude Zone help me, and the rest of the unwashed masses, to understand what makes that world go round. Gain a new appreciation for the often overlooked Prelude, and check out Prelude Zone.com.
