Spyshots of the Spyker Aileron
This one is for Leigh, a contributor and photographer who joined me at NYIAS, she stood and drooled over the modest Spyker display.
Anyways, Emil, from autogespot sent this through thinking it might be of interest to our American readers. Apparently the Aileron is powered by an Audi-sourced 400hp engine. As you can see this "spy shot" is more a shot of a test mule. The car has the C8 front end, but the ass-end just looks all sorts of messed up.
Anyone here a fan of the Spykers? I like them, but I was never a huge fan of them. For the $200,000+ price point I can think of a lot of other things I would like to buynamely a Nissan GTR, a Cayenne GTS and an 08 STI, the remaining $14,000 I would just put in the bank.

oh and spyker’s motto is the best ever: “Nulla tenaci invia est via” - For the tenacious, no road is impassable.

thx chris! gave me a smile. i love spykers, but they are not very popular in the US. in fact i’ve only seen one on the road once. but i hope to change that, single-handedly
if i had a C8 or C12 in the dark plum, then i know i could die happy.
