Well, we are doing it again.  About seven or eight of us are making another trip to a Rally America event.  We are headed up to the deep forests of northern Minnesota to watch the Ojibwe Forest Rally.  This is just three short weeks after the X Games event…that left a lot of carnage on the cars.  Including ACP’s crazy end over end roll.

The rally starts with a superspecial at Bemidji Speedway, this is one of the rare instances where fans can actually see the entire stage, before trekking out in the woods to plant themselves at a turn.  We’ll watch as Pastrana, ACP and Block battle it out.

For only $2,000 you can buy these sweet boxer briefs that have a built in vacuum and pouch.  You connect a tube to your cash and prizes and then when you have to go, you hit the green button and evacuate.  How lazy do you have to be?  Seriously?

CDOT video capture shows stranded traffic on I-70 Monday.

Vail, Colo.- Spring is upon Colorado, a state known for beautiful mountain vistas, and legendary late-season snowstorms. The old Cannonball Runs of the 70’s seems to be the inspiration for a lot of folks to get out on the highways and drive as fast as possible. Usually this is disorganized, sporadic, and usually ends with a hefty ticket or fine. Sometimes, however, this trend becomes more of an underground sport, prompting people all over the world to race from one point to another over long distances on public roads.

Last night, I happened to stumble upon superspeeders.com, and it got me thinking about the whole idea of speeding, the rush, the excitement, the danger of it. I won’t lie, I’ve done it (along with just about everyone else on the face of the planet). But I gotta know, what’s your opinion of people who speed habitually, like the good folks at SuperSpeeders?

We took a nice 11 hour jaunt from Minneapolis, MN to Gaylord, MI for Rally America’s Sno*Drift. Along the way we tried to find some interesting views to share with our readers. Our first gas stop somewhere in WI gave us all the Valentine’s Day gifts you would need, chocolate, sexy cartoon girl slushies and furry hand cuffs. It took us past a cop changing his tire. Warren G’s Liquors. Another “gentleman” changing a tire in a t shirt. In three degree weather.

It took us across the swaying Mackinac Bridge. And finally to burgeoning metropolis that is Gaylord, Michigan. The desk staff at Baymont Inn (with more snowmobiles than cars in the parking lot) welcomed us… as did the stuffed fish.

We start tomorrow at 8am with media ride along during the practice sessions, look for more tomorrow.

Follow the jump for more pictures.
