So, I have been a bit absent lately, it’s coming into finals week for my last semester of graduate school and on top of that, things have been swamped at work. I just spent a few days in California filming some stuff for work. We were lucky enough to do the filming at the Streets of Willow Springs. With some pretty talented Rally America drivers. I will share the films and commercials once they are blessed and ready to go public, just like I did last time.
Anyways, this bad ass SUV is called an ultimate arm. The company has a few of these, among them is a matte blacked out Cayenne Turbo. For this shoot we used a MB ML55AMG with some fancy HD camera. Anyways, the arm has a ton of motion and reach capabilities and is pretty funny to watch chase cars around the track. One more picture after the jump.

Here’s another taste of traditional rodding for y’all out there- in this case a 1928 Ford “Sport Coupe.” The unique look of this thing, coupled with the gorgeous burgundy paint job and period-correct flathead mill all add up to one great car. The DuVall style windshield and latch-securing hood assembly add another zillion points to the cool scale. Dig that dashboard! This appears to be a homebuilt creation, masterfully executed. I’m off to go autocrossing this weekend, hope you all have fun as well!

Rods like this aren’t for the billet-wheel and small-block folks. Nor is this rod for the faint of heart or light of foot. This thing is intended for the knuckle-dragging, hairy-armed, skilled-with-a-wrench guys who don’t need 4 wheel drive, complex brakes or crumple zones. What we have here is a Model A with an early Chrysler 331 C.I. hemispherical-head V8, running through six deuces. The owner and builder of the car is called Jimmy White- the founder of, and one of the geniuses (or madmen) behind, the iron that rolls out of Circle City Hot Rods, in Orange, California. Although more cars than this have come out of his shop, this is considered by many to be his masterpiece. Who can deny the cool factor of the thing, let alone the glorious noise that is coming out of the straight pipes? This is in a class of it’s own- this thing is bitchin’, no way around that. Stay tuned to C|G for more on Circle City.
Have a great weekend!

So let’s say you like the power of an F-body, but dislike the styling and cut-rate interior. You also dig the cornering prowess of the Mitsubishi Evo- but the high-strung inline really isn’t your style. In this situation, what’s a guy (or gal) supposed to do? Why, shoehorn an LS1 into said Evo, of course!
Now, I don’t really have any specifics on the video, like where it was shot, what the whole point of this amalgam is, what sort of power is being put out, but that bowtie mill sure sounds nasty, and I can only wonder what that thing will be like once the ProCharger is belted up. What I can tell you is that this “Evo” is running the stock pumpkin-which will no doubt be turned into puree should the mill get into the higher RPM ranges. Oh, and say bye-bye to the weight balance, unless you wanna break out the kitty litter.
Have a great weekend, everybody!
Although the Trans-Am racing series is all but defunct these days, but in the 60’s and 70’s, it was one of the many places where American Manufacturers came together to beat the hell out of each other both on the track and in sales. The Boss 302, Z-28, Javelin and AAR ‘Cuda all battled side-by-side in a bid for understeer glory. To see one of these things in action is nothing short of legendary, so I thought I’d share this doozy of a video I found while avoiding more work browsing YouTube. Enjoy (turn the volume WAAAAAAAY up), and have a great weekend!
