Not much is known about the Mazda Furai concept at this time, other than it looks like something Batman would drive if he cared about renewable resources.

Furai, pronounced “Fu-rye,” is Japanese for “sound of the wind,” which seems appropriate since this thing probably slices through it pretty well.

The car, revealed on December 27, 2007, is powered by a 450 horsepower three rotar rotary engine that uses 100% ethanol.

There are no other real specs at the moment, with more to be revealed at the 2008 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS), to be held in Detroit from Sunday, January 13 through Sunday, January 27, 2008.

If this is an indication of the future of Mazda’s “Nagare” (flow) design language, we should see some pretty unique automobiles coming from them. Let’s just hope some of them make it to production.

Apparently while many STI and EVO owners decide to go wingless, German tuners today are adding very hefty wings, but is all for show? I’ll let you be the judge of this wing, seen here on the Porsche GTR 650 Gemballa Avalanche. And PLEASE DO NOT TOUCH the wing.

So yeah.  I thought it was odd when I spotted a F430 covered in grime and salt sitting in the Whole Foods parking lot in Minneapolis.  Eurospek, a member on Saab92x.com and culture|garage, submits pictures of a Carrera GT covered in winter’s finest.  But I guess if you threw some Nokians on it, in combination with a mid-mount engine and low cg you would have no problem.  And the rest of the pictures, here, look like it was somewhere in Russia.  Interesting.

I am really getting sick of these “teaser” shots. Everyone seems to be doing it. Porsche did it with the launch of the revised Cayenne. Most of the current pictures of the WRX STI are a dark car, hidden in shadows. But this isn’t about creepy teaser shots. This is about the most bad ass Ford STI Focus RS. I mean this thing just looks wicked. It has bigger shoulders than Mark MacGuire (circa 2003). The bumper, the hood and the arches give this thing an incredible stance. It will be using the five cylinder turbo sourced from Volvo. Rumors suggest the car will be a Montana ranch with 280 horses.

The person who placed this video on YouTube calls these guys rednecks, but it’s obvious they are well beyond the intelligence level required to consider Skoal one of the main food groups. They spent 15 grand and untold man hours to create this mechanical beast. However, unless each unit comes with a free dental plan, I don’t think they will be hitting the streets until they work out a better any suspension system.

Pictured above is the 730hp Brabus CLS, the power is churned out of a twin turbo V-12. It’s capable of 225mph. According to Concept Cars, that makes it the world’s fastest sedan. Concept Cars has also compiled, “The World’s Finest Police Cars.” Many of them are oldies that you will have seen before, but I just can’t imagine being pulled over by a Lotus Elise.
