One badass kitty

So last month we saw the first modified Jaguar XF, done by the California dealer Galpin, and its gaudy two tone paint scheme. To be honest I wasn’t too impressed. But leave it to the Germans to produce this stunning tuning package for the Jaguar XF.

German tuner Arden, which specializes in Jaguars and Range Rovers, has released this teaser picture with no other details. The “AJ21 XF” package as it’s called includes a new front bumper, a new mesh grille, custom ‘leaping-cat’ hood ornament, LED daytime running lights, aero side mirrors, and a pair of sporty side sills. Most importantly gone are the stock wheels, which reminded me of VW Hufeisen wheel found on the MKV GTI.

Arden hasn’t announced any details on the mechanical updates, but be patient as the package is set to go on sale this June.

So the local Audi dealership (Audi Exchange in IL) has ordered yet another weird color for the RS4. The owner of the dealership has some odd color tastes when it comes to cars. First he ordered an orange (Papaya Orange is my guess) RS4 with Titanium Package that he drove around for a bit and still is for sale on the lot.

But yesterday at the Audi Exchange shows up a Porsche GT3RS Green painted Audi RS4 with Titanium Package. It definitely doesn’t look as good as on the GT3RS that’s for sure. And personally I would prefer General Lee’s painted RS4.

The Mercedes Benz C63 AMG is debuting this year featuring 457 hp and 600 Nm of torque. Leave it to the German Mercedes tuner Brabus to completely change this car into a monster, dubbed the Brabus Bullit Black Arrow.

Brabus will use the Geneva Auto Show to debut the car which is based on the C class and is powered by a Brabus biturbo V12 that produces 720 horsepower and 974 ft-lbs of torque, the car takes 3.9 seconds to get from 0-62 mph with its top speed greater than 225 mph.

Performance upgrades include a modified five speed transmission, a locking rear differential, aerodynamic enhancements, improved brakes, and an adjustable rear suspension. Interior upgrades include covering almost every piece in either leather or alcantara, and throwing some carbon fiber into the mix as well applying it to the center console, door, and dashboard.

The only difference between this year’s Bullit and last year’s Bullit is the matte-black paint finish. Pricing starts at 348,000 Euros and it’s built on demand for the lucky few.

Hummer partners with Mountain Rescue

Mountain Rescue is a charity group in England and Wales, their pledge, “Saving lives in wild and remote places.” Mountain Rescue is celebrating their 75th anniversary this year and Hummer is helping them arrive there in style.

The Hummer H3 was just recently released in right-hand drive layout in the UK, so to show off, GM partnered up with Mountain Rescue and gave them one (possibly more?).

They also quasi-pimped it out to help them with carrying gear and people. The H3’s are outfitted with spot lights and rocker panel protection.

Imagine how many chicks those guys get!

So what did you do today?

You know, drove my sweet ass Hummer to the edge of an embankment, rappelled 397 feet and helped some guy with a shattered tibia up the side of the mountain…

The last time you heard “Japanese” and “bike” together, you probably thought about some sort of Kawasaki cafe racer or a Honda CBR-series motorcycle. Although Japanese bikes are more known for being all-out racers rather than cruisers, a small but VERY talented bike shop in Japan is keeping the traditional hog alive.

Have I died and gone to car heaven? Well it seems like it after watching two of my favorite modified supercars battle it out on the track. The Gemballa-tuned Porsche Carrera Mirage GT and Lamborghini Murcielago 660 GT by BF are raced against each other for the German TV-show “DMAX”.

Behind the wheel of Murcielago BF 660 GT is none other than Ring Queen Sabine Schmitz, and let’s just say the driver of the Mirage GT is one lucky guy.

harley_trike_911-02.jpg

Today’s WTFF (what the f Friday) moment brought to you by Harley Davidson and Porsche.  To clear the air, trikes are for Nancys.  After the age of three you should never again be seen on a trike.

I ripped this from Motorpasion, which is in Spanish (I think), so don’t ask me for any details.  All I know, is that is a Harley trike with a 911 ass.
