3 CommentsUmmm, yeah. When I am looking for a capable off roader (which I never am), I don’t usually place the BMW X3 at the top of the list. Luckily Hartage is here with the X3 Hunter. It now has 23cm of clearance! Which is about the same as a Subaru Outback wagon. They also bumped the power up to 253 hp (European version of the 3.0 diesel). They seem to be off a bit with the fit and finish department, the front skid plate is all off kilter and doesn’t line up and the mesh looks like Home Depot gutter guard special.

G-Power (lame name) is working on a 800 hp BMW M5, dubbed the Hurricane (lamer name). Now while they have horrible taste in nomenclature, they seem to have the rest of the stuff, like, engineering all in order. They are currently in testing mode, and with (only) 730hp pouring out of the twin turboed v-10 and some electrical gremlins (in a BMW!? Weird.) they managed to hit a top speed of 200mph. They are confident that at 800hp they can turn in sub 3 second 0-60 times and a top speed of around 217mph. Check out G-Power to read more and see their other projects. ![]()

I am really getting sick of these “teaser” shots. Everyone seems to be doing it. Porsche did it with the launch of the revised Cayenne. Most of the current pictures of the WRX STI are a dark car, hidden in shadows. But this isn’t about creepy teaser shots. This is about the most bad ass Ford STI Focus RS. I mean this thing just looks wicked. It has bigger shoulders than Mark MacGuire (circa 2003). The bumper, the hood and the arches give this thing an incredible stance. It will be using the five cylinder turbo sourced from Volvo. Rumors suggest the car will be a Montana ranch with 280 horses.
Quick edit: Jalopnik is on the exact same page as us, specifically, linking the pictures of the Cayenne and STI. You know what they say about great minds… Read the rest of this entry »

This piece of art bike has a frame made entirely of titanium. Yeah, titanium. The 200hp V-twin 2150cc engine is carved from billet aluminum. It has MotoGP spec Olhins suspension. The brakes, just wow, six pot brakes with a brake pad on EACH of the 12 pistons. The bike goes by the name Ecosse Titanium Series. There will be only 10 made.

Wow. Apparently Chris Bangle’s son got bored and wanted to figure out how to build onto his father’s popularity with the 5 series. Success. This BMW is covered in HAND CARVED ivory, diamonds and rubies. It took three years. Yes, three years, to make the car this hideous. But it gets better. The car is to be auctioned off, all proceeds will go to Guangzhou Asian Games Organizing Committee to host the 16th Asian Games held in Guangzhou. It is expected to fetch $2,000,000 Euros.

Lorinser just showed off their take on the 2008 Mercedes-Benz Estate (that’s pretentious for, station wagon). The car rolls on the signature Lorinser wheels, but they also sculpted the body a bit more with a full body aero kit consisting of front and rear aprons, side skirts with five gill-like air inlets, a honeycomb sport grill, wide fenders with large air inlets on the side. Unfortunately, they didn’t really do much to increase the power.

Saleen plans to support our service men and women by building 24 limited edition 2008 Patriot American Flag Saleen Mustangs. There will be eight of each color, red, white and blue. They are based on the S281 supercharged Mustang. I wold love a drab green one with a matte black star on the door, but I guess this is a way to fly your flag.

The limited edition Boxster RS60 pays homage to its father, the victor of the 1960 12 Hours of Sebring, the 718RS. They share a lot in common, red interiors and silver paint. Quite honestly, it’s a beautiful car and Porsche seems to be all about special edition Boxsters, earlier this year they released the special edition GT3 Orange Boxster. You can view the webspecial on the Boxster RS60 on Porsche’s site.
