2004-2011. RIP Mazda RX-8. It has been confirmed now that model year 2011 will be the final model year for this unique sports car. The time has come for the one and only rotary-powered production car in the market to head on down the sunset. Along with it are a pair of triangular shaped objects that bumps around a peanut looking chamber. Gone will be the funky styled rear doors and zingy 9000rpm...

Author’s Note: This post is written purely in jest, you need not be offended.

I was in Hempstead on Long Island the other day, and in a crowded parking lot, I happened upon a GMC utility vehicle proudly boasting the vanity license plate “3BADBOYZ”.

I will give them some leeway because the driver was probably from Long Island. That being said, I don’t see anything particularly badass...

Visualize, if you will, an old red pick-up truck. Late ‘80s, early ‘90s. Very square. Very red. A little dinged up on the edges. Perhaps a bit rusty. You know which one I’m talking about. Usually to the left of you on the highway. Now visualize, if you will, the bumper stickers that are inevitably on the tail of this vehicle. Depending on the license plate, the highway, and the speed of...

As evidenced in prior articles, I’m female. So in order to write this article I will have to admit that yes, I did read The Twilight Saga, and yes, I went to see both movies. (And yes, I am full of self-loathing for both.) But, as this is a car website, I will not wax poetic on physiques or dreamy fictional characters. Instead, I will wax poetic about “shiny silver Volvos” and how...

We are all special and unique people. That being said, I believe there are inherent qualities that are in all of us. We never notice these similarities, because these qualities only show themselves in private. Generally in one’s car.

After much thought and a smidge of observation, I’ve compiled a list of things that many drivers do in their cars, regardless of age, sex, race, etc etc.
...

I’ll reiterate, for the first time in 21 months,...
